The free-to-enter Alzheimer’s Society Poetry Competition is open to poems of up to 40 lines on the subject of dementia or people affected by the condition. It is open to residents of the UK, the Republic of Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. Poems must be your original work and not published elsewhere (unless in a personal capacity, such as on your blog – ask us if you’re unsure).
Poets aged 18 and above can enter the adult category, while the youth category is open to under-18s. Entry is by email or post and the winning poems will be published in the Alzheimer’s Society magazine, Dementia Together.
