The UK Writers College Short Story Competition is open to new writers aged 16 or over but anyone who has made a living from writing (fiction or non-fiction) is not eligible to enter. It is run by The Writers College, who offer a range of writing resources and courses to aspiring authors and who have bases in the UK, New Zealand and South Africa. Whether you want to hone your short story writing skills, or you want to learn the craft of writing a novel, The Writing College will have a course that might appeal.
The judging panel is made up of three talented authors: Lorraine Forrest-Turner, Alex Smith and Andrew Salomon who have a wealth of writing experience between them.
