With daily interactive meetings\, two one-to-one tutorials with experienced tutors (25 minutes each) and the chance to meet lots of like-minded writers\, this could be the kickstart your poetry needs. Arvon will also throw in free passes to any of their webinars running between 10th and 14th February (each of which is usually priced at £40). \nThe three tutors on the course are:\n– Ella Frears\, whose collection Shine\, Darling (Offord Road Books\, 2020) was shortlisted for both the Forward Prize for Best First Collection\, and the T. S. Eliot Prize for Poetry.\n– Shivanee Ramlochan. a Trinidadian writer whose debut\, Everyone Knows I Am a Haunting (Peepal Tree Press\, 2017)\, was shortlisted for the 2018 Forward Prize for Best First Collection.\n– Daniel Sluman\, a 38-year-old poet and disability rights activist who co-edited the first major UK Disability poetry anthology Stairs and Whispers: D/deaf and Disabled Poets Write Back and he has appeared widely in UK poetry journals. \nSo\, if you have always wanted to attend a writing retreat but the practicalities of life have stopped you\, this could be a fantastic option for you.
