There are two age categories: 6 to 10 years and 11 to 15 years. It is a national competition although there is a special category prize for writers from Wiltshire\, Somerset and Dorset. \nThe organisers encourage entries from writers from all backgrounds and are looking for bold\, original writing. The theme can be interpreted in any way the writer decides; it can be a story\, a poem\, a description or an account of how the writer thinks about it.
