As well as the open competitions (like this one) which are outlined on their website\, they also have an amazing members-only Facebook group. The group is a forum in which writers of all types and experience levels can support one another’s endeavours\, share success stories and generally chat about writing. But there are also loads of members-only competitions available\, most with cash prizes\, that are well worth checking out\, including their & Day Story Writing Challenges. \nBack to this competition\, and with a nice top prize of £1\,000\, it should be on your list of competitions to enter\, especially if you want to try your hand at a spot of science fiction. It has a generous word limit of 5\,000. Also\, there is usually the opportunity for a feedback exchange with other entrants on the Facebook group once the deadline has passed which can be very useful for those trying to improve their craft.
