Each category will also pick one commended entry (and award a prize of £25). The winners and commended writers in each category will also have the opportunity to read their work at the literary festival on 20th September in Leamington Spa.

As well as the prizes mentioned above\, there is a £100 Acorn Award for unpublished authors as well as £50 in book vouchers.
