His first full collection A VOICE COMING FROM THEN (Arachne Press\, 2021) won the Wales Book of the Year Poetry Award 2022.  \nThe winner will receive £500 plus the choice of either a course at Literature Wales’ Tŷ Newydd Writing Centre or a week-long self-catered retreat at their dedicated writing retreat cottage\, Nant. Second place will get £100 and third will get £50\, and all three winners will be published in Poetry Wales and get a year’s subscription too. 10 highly commended poets will be invited to read at the Awarding Ceremony\, and have their poems published in an online booklet on poetrywales.co.uk.
