The Prize offers awards of £1\,000 for Flash Fiction and £1\,000 Flash Non-Fiction as well as runner-up prizes. \nAbout QuietManDave\nDave Murray entertained and informed many through his blog quietmandave.co.uk. He was a keen theatre critic\, performed poetry at open mic sessions and loved flash fiction. He embraced writing relatively late in life but did so with a passion. The QuietManDave Prize\, named in honour of his memory and achievements\, will seek to enable and promote new writing. The QuietManDave Prize has been supported through the generosity of family and friends of Dave.
