The Red Shed Poetry Competition 2025 is run by Currock Press (and sponsored by Mocca Moocho Café, Wakefield) and is seeking poems of up to 40 lines from anyone aged 16 or older. With a modest entry fee and the option to enter up to five poems, this could be a great competition to send your unpublished poems.
Competition judge Marion Oxley admires “poems that tell me something I don’t already know, that take me to places I haven’t already been” and “poems that make me think, challenge preconceptions, that widen the readers’ horizons”. So get best your best work sent to the Red Shed Poetry Competition before the 28th March 2025.
