Outside In has a fanatastic opportunity for two West Midlands-based artists as part of their upcoming National Open Exhibition, ‘Shelter’.
Outside In is an award-winning national arts charity that supports artists who encounter significant barriers to the art world, such as due to health, disability, social circumstance or isolation. They are seeking two West Midlands-based artists, creatives, writers or poets who meet their criteria to create a written piece in response to our upcoming national open exhibition, ‘Shelter’. This can be a poem, a story or a short essay-style piece.
The selected artists will attend either or both the private view and celebration event for ‘Shelter’, and then have time to write their piece in preparation for a spoken word event in mid- to late-July. The spoken word event date is yet to be confirmed, but Outside In will ensure the selected artists have sufficient notice and support to write their piece.
