The Creative Writing NZ Short Story Prize is offering a top prize of NZ$1,000 to the winning story of up to 3,000 words. Head judge Dr Lucie Brownlee is a Sunday Times best-seller for her novel Life After You, which was also adapted for TV.
As well as the cash prizes mentioned (paid in NZ Dollars), the winner and runners-up will also receive a free online course and publication on the Creative Writing NZ site.
