The latest Henshaw Press Short Story Competition is open to entries, with a £6 fee and an optional critique (for an additional fee of £14), the top prize is £200, which is well worth winning. Winning entrants will also be offered the opportunity to have their stories included in the next Henshaw Anthology. Check out the competition website for the various terms and conditions.
In 2023 the Henshaw Press Short Story Competition raised £406.39 which was donated for the purchase of books at the Christopher Whitehead Language College and Sixth Form, Worcester. In 2024, the competition raised £581.40 for The Burton Borough School, Newport, Shropshire. In 2025 the competition raised £364.29 for books for Walton High School, Stafford.
