Competition Details
The Mslexia Women’s Poetry Competition is a very highly regarded poetry contest for people who self-identify as a woman. As well as this competition for single poems (though you can enter up to three for the £12 fee), Mslexia are also running a Women’s Pamphlet Competition 2026 (with the same deadline) for collections of 18-20 poems, of up to 24 pages.
There is no line limit and the top prize of £2,000 for the single poem competition is well worth aiming for. As are the other cash prizes and the chance to be published in the March 2027 issue of Mslexia. Be sure to check the rules and eligibility criteria on the website, and good luck!
