From 1st June 2026, the Wild Muse Nature Writing Prize is looking for pieces where nature participates in the story, writing in which the land is alive on the page. The prize invites personal stories, poems, essays and more which explore our relationship with the living world. This year’s theme is Nature’s Power to Heal, Guide and Transform and the prize is delighted to welcome Alice Vincent as judge.
Honouring the voices of those who have been touched, guided, or healed by nature, the Wild Muse Nature Writing Prize is an invitation to explore and share those experiences, offering inspiration and reconnection through story. Open to anyone, anywhere in the world.
Bursaries are available for those interested in participating but who may find the entry fee prohibitive.
