  • Entry Fee: Very Early Bird – €12 (September-October 2024), Early Bird fee – €15 (November 2024-January 2025), Standard fee – €18 (February – July 2025)
  • Prizes: 1st Place: €1,000 plus publication in Anthology magazine and a one-year subscription; 2nd: €250; 3rd: €150

Run by the beautifully designed Anthology magazine, this short story competition has one of the lowest word limits around but the €1,000 first prize is well worth vying for. As is the additional prizes of being published the magazine and receiving a one-year subscription too.

Note that the standard entry fee is €18 but you get a discount if you get your entry in early enough.
