The Elmbridge Literary Competition 2024 is run in partnership with publisher Sampson Low, who will publish the winning entries as a Chapbook. Open to short stories and poems, there are various categories for under 18s and another for adults. Check out the competition terms and conditions for all the details. Please read the terms carefully as they vary depending on the type of submission and the age of the entrant.
Note that there are different prizes and word/line limits for the different categories, but the adults have a word limit of 1,500 words for short story entries and 30 lines for poems. Note also that the Arial font must be used. There is the option to pay for Judges Feedback (fee £10.00) or a Full Critique (fee £25).
