The Gregory O’Donoghue International Poetry Competition is sponsored by the Munster Literature Centre and has been running since 2010. The prize is named in honour of the late Irish poet long associated with the Centre.
As well as the tidy cash prize, the winning poet will also have their poem featured at the Cork International Poetry Festival (with a four-night hotel stay and full board!), and it will feature on the Southword Poetry Podcast and be published in the Southword literary journal.
Please read the submission details and rules carefully (for instance, PDFs are not permitted). And good luck!
